The car being used for "manual" driving lessons in 2010 is a dual control Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 multijet diesel - small, comfortable, roadworthy and easy to drive. Driving instruction in an "automatic" transmission car is with a Hyundai GETZ 1.6, also with dual controls for your own safety. Pictures of these are shown, below.

Pick-up and drops can be from home, college or work - within the area outlined above. Tests are usually arranged at the Launceston Driving Test Centre, and students are familiarized with that locality when appropriate.
